Puppy Boarding Northbrook: The Average Day

Most puppy parents are curious about what the average day will look like for a puppy staying with us. We love schedules and routines for pups, and therefore provide a lot of consistency in the day-to-day experience for the dogs that stay with us—exactly what puppies need. Here’s a snapshot of what the average day may look like:

• Morning— The morning starts with some outdoor playtime while staff freshens bedding. Once pups have an opportunity to stretch their legs, breakfast is served! 
• Afternoon— After breakfast, it’s time for more playtime! Pups can play inside or out, and have the option of exploring the home or exploring the five-acre grounds we maintain, which are fenced. If you’ve scheduled your pup for training, it will happen during this afternoon block. This is also the time when many pups choose to snooze.
• Evening— Dinner is served in the early evening/late afternoon. If dogs aren’t too tuckered out from a day of play, they have a few more hours to explore and socialize before bed. We do a final potty break around 10:00 p.m., and then it’s bedtime!

What to Expect from Happy Pup Manor

You should have high expectations when you choose to board your pup with us. We offer a range of services, including pick-up and drop-off services,(included in the price), grooming services (included in the price), and training. Our staff also loves dogs, and will provide a lot of cuddles and love while your pup is here. Of course, we encourage playtime and exploration of our 5,000 square foot home and five acres of fenced yard. Pups will have individual kennels and areas where they will sleep and eat. If your dog is on a special diet or needs medication, we can accommodate that, too. We’ll be sure to send you lots of pictures and videos of your puppy while they’re staying at our manor!
